We are so blessed! We spent the last few days out in the hot, November sun, digging up pounds and pounds of medicinal plants to transplant! Echincacea Purpurea, Nettles, Yarrow, Spearmint and Motherwort abound!
These plants have been grown by the loving hands of Herbalist Brynn Seaton Batten of Fiddler’s Green Farm. They are 100% certified organic and 100% magical.
Many of these plants will be transplanted tomorrow into newly turned rows. But we have sooo many plants that we are giving some away!
Visit our roadside stand, at 9696 Valley Rd in Berkeley Springs, WV 25411, this Saturday and Sunday, Nov 5th and 6th, 10am-2pm (or by appointment) for up to 10 free plants with any purchase. Black, Indigenous and People of Color, as well as anyone currently experiencing joblessness can also have at least 10 free plants, probably more!
Just want to buy some plants? No problem! Nettle, Yarrow, or Spearmint plants are available for 50 cents each, Echinacea for a dollar each.
Now, to clarify, these are bare root. The plants are small and dormant, though the roots are strong and healthy. There may or may not be some soil clinging to them. Bring a cardboard box to take them home in and be prepared to transplant them right away! They *should* overwinter well and grow strongly come Spring, but no promises.
We may be still have some available next weekend. We may be able to do a dropoff in Baltimore. We are happy to open the stand during the week to get you some of these magical plant friends. We might even ship, given the right parameters. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get yours if you can’t make it in the next two days!
Our stand will be open almost every weekend in November and December (we may sit out the holiday weekends) and stocked full of tinctures, salves, soaks, scrubs and other gifts and goodies. We are also excited to soon get to announce a new partnership and new potions at the stand!
