Want to make your own healing potions, but don’t know where to start?
This fun, easy workshop will step you through the basics of plant identification and ingredient options, before taking you through a step-by-step demonstration of how to make high-quality, potent tinctures. You will then get all the materials, ingredients, supplies and guidance you need to make a 16 oz jar of tincture to take home!
$50 per person ages 12 and up. Younger children may attend for free but MUST be supervised at all times! (Want to bring the whole crew? Contact us for group pricing.)
Saturday July 22, 10am–1pm
IMPORTANT: We live in a reclaiming natural wonderland. There is poison ivy, ticks, etc. The workshop will mostly take place in a relatively flat, easy to navigate, mowed area. We will bring some options for herbs that do not require foraging. But there will be an opportunity to go out and forage your own herbs for your tincture, and any exploration beyond the workshop area will lead you into wildness. Please take appropriate precautions, like wearing closed-toed shoes, bringing a water bottle, gloves, tick repellent, sun hat or sunscreen, etc.
